At Avgoulea-Linardatou School, we are committed to supporting academic excellence and rewarding outstanding students through our comprehensive scholarship program. Below you will find all the essential information regarding eligibility, application process, examination details, and additional resources for our scholarships.
Students entering Grade 7 are invited to apply for a scholarship awarded for academic excellence. Eligible candidates are those who completed Grade 5 with a perfect score (10/10) and have a first-trimester Grade 6 average of 10/10. The scholarship is granted through a competitive exam in Greek Language and Mathematics.
The exam lasts 3.5 hours (1.5 hours Language, 30-minute break, 1.5 hours Mathematics). Successful scholars may retain their tuition reduction in Grades 8 and 9, provided they continue to excel academically and demonstrate exemplary conduct. Applications are accepted within the designated application period.
Students entering Grade 10 may apply for a scholarship recognizing outstanding academic achievement. Eligible candidates are Grade 9 students in Attica with at least 19 "Excellent" marks in the first semester.
The scholarship is awarded through a competitive exam in Modern Greek, Ancient Greek, and Mathematics, lasting 4.5 hours (1.5 hours Mathematics, 30-minute break, 2 hours Modern & Ancient Greek). Applications are accepted within the designated application period.

Grade 5 students with a perfect score (10/10) and a first trimester progress report average of 10/10 can apply for the Grade 7 scholarship. Grade 9 students who have achieved at least 19 "Excellent" marks in the first semester can apply for the Grade 10 scholarship.

Grade 7: Written exams in Greek Language and Mathematics (1.5 hours each, with a 30-minute break; total duration 3.5 hours). Grade 10: Written exams in Modern Greek, Ancient Greek, and Mathematics (1.5 hours Mathematics, 2 hours Modern & Ancient Greek, with a 30-minute break; total duration 4.5 hours). Tuition fee reduction for scholarship winners. For Grade 7, the scholarship is maintained in Grades 8 and 9 with continued top performance and exemplary conduct.Scholarship award amounts:

Submission of the latest progress report and signed GDPR consent form is mandatory. Participation in the competitive written exams in the specified subjects is required.
Yes. Students must bring official identification (such as a school ID with photo or government-issued ID). No notes, mobile devices, or outside help are allowed. Any violation of exam conduct will result in disqualification.
Exams are marked anonymously by two independent evaluators. If their scores differ by more than 12 points, a third evaluation is carried out. The final grade is based on the closest two scores. All results are final.
Yes. For students entering Grade 7, the scholarship may be renewed through Grades 8 and 9, provided the student maintains top academic performance and exemplary behaviour.
No. The decision of the scholarship committee is final and cannot be appealed.
School transportation is available only in areas covered by the school’s official bus network. Please contact the school's transportation office to confirm route availability.
