Junior High School

Students take ownership of their learning through continuous assessment that celebrates progress and builds confidence. Guided by performance coordinators and mentor teachers, they set goals, track their development, and reflect on their achievements in partnership with their families.

Throughout the year, students engage in a mix of classroom challenges, formative feedback, and milestone assessments that strengthen academic growth. Focused review sessions and early preparation help them excel in promotion and graduation exams each June.

Regular evaluations in December and February keep learning on track, while digital tools like Classter and Class Notebook support communication and self-monitoring. Students proudly earn recognition for success in national and international exams, Olympiads, and competitions - proof of their hard work and determination.

Junior High School students develop essential life competencies that help them navigate adolescence with confidence and purpose. They manage their emotions, set goals, and adapt to change, while cultivating empathy, collaboration, and communication skills.

Students immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of languages, beginning with daily English instruction from preschool through Grade 10. By Junior High, they build a strong foundation and are fully prepared for Cambridge and Michigan exams.

As they add a third language - French or German - students can pursue optional certifications such as DELF, Goethe, or DSD1, opening doors to global opportunities.

Beyond the classroom, learning extends to Chinese as an extracurricular activity (ECA), summer programs, theatre, reading workshops, and Francophone competitions, nurturing language proficiency, curiosity, confidence, and a deep appreciation for diverse cultures.

Junior High students at Avgoulea-Linardatou School can join our renowned Summer Mission to England, an immersive international program that blends language learning with hands-on cultural experiences.

From visiting museums and historic landmarks to exploring university campuses and local attractions, students develop confidence, global awareness, and practical English skills - all while creating unforgettable memories.

Junior High students begin early shaping their future with purpose through a dynamic life and career pathways program that links classroom learning to real-world experience.

Through targeted guidance, psychometric assessments, and one-on-one mentoring, students discover their strengths and explore academic and career interests. Career Days and experiential visits to universities and workplaces help them connect aspirations with real opportunities.
