On Friday, March 20, as part of the activities and celebrations for the Greek National Anniversary of 1821, our students attended the screening of the historical documentary “1821 – Threads Through Time” in the school’s event hall. The documentary was created by our school to honor the 200th anniversary of the Greek War of Independence. It is the result of a cycle of historical research projects aiming to highlight some of the most important moments of the Greek struggle and pay tribute to our ancestors and their fight for freedom.Within this framework, students researched specific topics with the support of their teachers and distinguished historians who contributed significantly to the project’s creation. Through this process, students explored key figures and events of the Greek Revolution from their own perspective. The screening was introduced by philologist Mr. Marios Liakopoulos. You can watch the documentary “1821 – Threads Through Time” at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cKLLRydm98
