With great success and the participation of approximately five hundred runners of all ages, the 9th Charity Running Event “The Park 10K” took place, organized by the Avgoulea-Linardatou Schools at the Antonis Tritsis Metropolitan Park, with the support of the Park’s Management and Development Authority for Environmental and Educational Activities and Social Economy.Under favorable weather conditions and within the park’s unique natural environment, children, students, runners, and running clubs took part in this noble event, which aimed to support the nonprofit association MDA Hellas, dedicated to people with neuromuscular diseases in Greece and improving their quality of life.A special highlight was the 300m children’s “Bunny Run,” where young participants discovered the joy of sport, participation, and giving. Additional races included the 1300m “Fun Run,” the 5,000m race for students and adults, and of course the main 10,000m “Park 10K.”The Avgoulea-Linardatou Schools warmly thank all sponsoring companies for their contribution and support in making the event possible.
