After their first successful performance in front of their classmates, the students of the advanced group of the Theatre Workshop presented, for a second time on Saturday, October 4, a rare theatrical adaptation of the philosophical masterpiece Asceticism, directed by the school’s theatre educator Christos Syriotis. With outstanding performances that received warm applause from the audience, the students engaged with Nikos Kazantzakis’ challenging philosophical essay, skillfully conveying universal messages about humanity’s deepest existential questions and the nature of human existence. As the day was entirely dedicated to theatre, our school also paid tribute, on behalf of its community, to its late theatre educator of twenty years, Gerasimos Spathis.
