On Tuesday and Wednesday, February 10–11, Grade 2 students visited the Hellenic Ceramics Center in Marousi, a cultural space dedicated to Greek ceramic art and education. They explored exhibitions of traditional and contemporary ceramic works and learned how clay is shaped into objects. With the help of instructors, they experimented with clay and created their own pieces on the pottery wheel. It was a creative and fun educational trip they will remember for a long time.
