Students participated in a European Parliament simulation in Thessaloniki and received awards for their proposals, debating skills, and teamwork.

For the eighth consecutive year, our school participated in the European Parliament Simulation program held in Thessaloniki at Mandoulides Schools on Thursday, January 15th and Friday, January 16th, 2026, with the participation of 25 schools from across Greece.

The students who represented our school were: Zisi Alexandra, Karagkiavouris Konstantinos, Karapidakis Anthi, Kinti Paraskevi, Lambrou Aikaterini, Martsoukou Alexia, Mavromati Despoina, Mavrogiorgou Nikolaïs, Nezis Panagiotis, Parashki Foteini, Raggos Angelos, Sempos Georgios, Chountis Panagiotis, Psoroida Georgia.

The students presented proposals and resolutions in their committees, voted on bills from other committees, and discussed pressing issues of social reality. With determination, they supported their positions, made important decisions, asked and answered questions, and responded to objections, earning awards for their contributions.

In particular:

  • Student Karapidakis Anthi received the award for Best Defense of a Resolution (Committee on Security and Defence).
  • Student Kinti Evi received the award for Best Answer to Questions (Ministry of Culture and Education).
  • Student Chountis Panagiotis received the award for Best Member of the Security and Defence Committee.
  • The Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality was awarded Best Committee, with participation and recognition of students Psoroida Georgia and Karagkiavouris Konstantinos.

The program fully achieved its educational objectives. The experience was highly engaging and experiential for the students. The feedback they received was excellent, and most importantly, they learned to collaborate, defend their views with confidence, and develop the European spirit.

We wish our students continued success!
