As part of the Language unit “Life in the city,” the students of the 5th grade at our School participated in an educational program by the “DRO” group, which specializes in experiential learning.More specifically, they attended the program “Around the Acropolis – Explorations,” during which they had the opportunity to have fun, discover, and learn about ancient Athens, its monuments, churches, buildings, people’s daily life, traditional professions, safe movement in the city, the environment, as well as urban flora and fauna.The activities provided them with the appropriate stimuli to complete their assigned exploration mission.The program took place in selected areas (Plaka, Anafiotika, Dionysiou Areopagitou pedestrian street) and offered a unique and memorable experience.
