“Children, let’s send our fears up high and say out loud: Goodbye fears, hello joy!”Inspired by the language lesson “Without Light,” we talked about our own fears and worries. What did we do next to free ourselves from them? We wrote or drew our fears on balloons and then let them fly high into the sky, carrying our fears far away.This symbolic activity truly excited our first-grade students, giving them the opportunity to express their feelings in a creative and positive way.
