Students and teachers of the High School Rhetoric Club participated in the Rhetoric Arts Competition “Dialogues – Speech on Democracy and Freedom,” organized by the Model General Lyceum of Anavryta on Sunday, 14/12/2025, as part of Active Citizenship initiatives. Sixteen high schools from Athens took part in the competition.Our students competed in the debate category of “Debate Exchanges,” sharing opinions, ideas, and emotions while gaining unforgettable experiences.The school achieved outstanding success:The 10th-grade student Nikaïs–Myrto Mavrogiorgou, together with her mixed team, won 1st place and received excellent praise.Angelos Raggos was ranked 5th best speaker of the competition.Our school’s debate team stood out for its high performance and excellent presence. It consists of the 10th-grade students Evi Kinti, Panagiotis Nezis, Angelos Raggos, and Panagiotis Hountis, as well as 11th-grade student Alexia Martsoukou.Participation in this competition marked the beginning of a creative and dynamic year full of debate contests and tournaments.
