For the fourth consecutive year, 32 of our students from 9th grade (Third Gymnasium) and 10th grade (First Lyceum), together with our physical education teachers, explored the beautiful and certified hiking trails of Andros. On Saturday, they were introduced to the traditional art of weaving in Menites and then hiked Route No. 1 for 6 km, ending in the picturesque Chora, where they stayed overnight. In the evening, during dinner time, students put their phones aside and interacted with each other, with the experience culminating in traditional dances at the hotel. On Sunday, unfortunately, the second planned hike was cancelled due to weather conditions, but the group completed a shorter coastal route in the Korthi area instead. Some students have been participating for the third consecutive year and always look forward to this experience. It has become a true institution, and we hope such activities continue in the future.
