Our kindergarten children had the opportunity to participate in a special and enjoyable educational visit to the Cooking Kids Club. There, they became little chefs and experienced a fully hands-on cooking activity, working with real kitchen ingredients and tools. The children learned about the basic ingredients needed to prepare olive bread and discussed their origin and importance in the Mediterranean diet. With enthusiasm, they kneaded the dough using rolling pins, sifted flour, and learned how to spread it evenly. Using child-safe knives, they cut the dough into pieces and shaped them into small olive breads. They brushed the surface with oil using brushes and observed the baking process. Each child left the workshop with their own olive bread in a special bag. This visit was a wonderful experience combining creativity, cooperation, and joyful learning through the most hands-on approach.
