As part of the celebrations for the National Anniversary of March 25th, Grade 8 students had the opportunity to attend a lecture on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, delivered by Mr. Konstantinos Tzavellas, a descendant of the historic Tzavellas family of Souli.He began by presenting the family’s genealogy and the history of Souli. He then analyzed the contribution of the Tzavellas family and the people of Souli to the Greek War of Independence. The event concluded with a question-and-answer session involving the students.Alongside his presentation, Mr. Tzavellas displayed numerous paintings depicting heroes of the Revolution, photographs of present-day Souli, made use of the Tzavellas family website, and presented a documentary video related to the topic.We warmly thank him for visiting our school and sharing his knowledge with our students.
