On Monday, October 27th, all primary school students took part in commemorative events for October 28th.In the school event hall “Gerasimos Spathis,” a formal ceremony was held for the handing over of the Greek flag to the 6th Grade students, followed by a presentation on the “Epic of 1940” by 4th Grade students, attended by 4th, 5th, and 6th Grades.In the school courtyard, 2nd Grade students presented a different kind of tribute to the “Epic of 1940,” through an interactive game involving 1st and 3rd Grade students.October 28th, 1940 is one of the most important dates in Greek history, as the Greek people said the proud “No” and the country resisted bravely, writing one of the most glorious pages of World War II history.Students honored this anniversary, highlighting the importance of freedom, dignity, and love for the homeland.
