On the occasion of the October 28th national celebration, our preschool classes discussed the events of that period, adapting the topic to the children’s age and interests.Through discussion, play, and music, the children explored what war and peace mean, as well as the importance of living together in harmony. The children dressed as soldiers and nurses, took part in role-play activities, listened to musical pieces that conveyed moments of war and peace, and expressed their emotions through movement and drawing.Through this hands-on experience, they gained a better understanding of the importance of peace, the power of friendship and solidarity, and the value of cooperation. It was a beautiful and emotional activity that helped the children “feel” history with their hearts and approach it in a creative and joyful way.
