On Saturday 04/10/2025, the award ceremony for the 13th National Physics Competition for Gymnasium and the 35th National Physics Competition for Lyceum, organized by the Union of Greek Physicists, took place. Our school participated in both competitions, where most students distinguished themselves in the first phase, which was held online. They then advanced to the second phase, which took place in written examinations at exam centers across the country and was described as more demanding this year. Awards: Lyceum (Grade 10): Konstantinos Gkellas – 1st award Evangelos Piotopoulos – 1st award Vlasios Fountadakis – 3rd award Gymnasium (Grade 8): Nikolaos Xydis – 2nd award Alexandros Zakynthinos – 3rd award Gymnasium (Grade 9): Angelos Ragos – 1st award Paraskevi Kinti – 1st award Panagiotis Nezis – 1st award Giorgos Sembos – 2nd award Nikolitza Karamolegkou – 3rd award Final phase (Top 25 nationwide): Three Grade 9 students qualified: Panagiotis Nezis – 5th place Paraskevi Kinti – 8th place Angelos Ragos – 9th place This was the only school with three students in the final phase.
