As part of the Religious Education curriculum, students of the 11th Grade (B' Lyceum) participated on Wednesday, January 14, in an innovative online educational initiative organized by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). The event focused on the topic: “Model Interdisciplinary Restoration of Iconic Christian Monuments (‘EVLOGON’) and Its Impact on the Technical World and Society.”Through presentations delivered by distinguished researchers, students gained insight into how science and technology collaborate with archaeology, engineering, theology, history, and sociology to preserve and promote monuments of global cultural significance, such as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem and the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople.Students were given the opportunity to submit questions to the researchers. Through the discussion, they discovered how interdisciplinary collaboration can open new academic and professional pathways, inspiring careers that combine creativity, technological innovation, and meaningful social and cultural impact.
