During our trip to Ancient Olympia, we had the pleasure of staying at the facilities of the International Olympic Academy, located in a truly beautiful setting on Kronios Hill. The First Grade Junior High students of Avgoulea-Linardatou Schools had the opportunity to visit the ancient stadium and the Archaeological Museum of Olympia, see the monument where the heart of Olympic Games revival founder Pierre de Coubertin is buried, learn about the history of the Olympic Games, and enjoy an unforgettable weekend full of sports and activities. It was an experience that will certainly remain in their memories for years to come.
