In the context of our interdisciplinary unit: "Let's get to know each other better – I present myself", we organized a variety of activities in the classes of our Kindergarten, which aimed to get to know the children, through play and fun. Initially, the Kindergarten teachers of the two classes, introduced ourselves to the children, opening a box full of personal items, photos and toys. The children were thrilled by our presentation. On this occasion, we asked the children on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 to bring to class their own "treasure", a small shoebox containing photos, information and objects (e.g. favorite toy, drawing, heroes) that they love and characterize. The children brought their boxes with special joy and holding a microphone, they talked about themselves in front of their classmates and presented their personal "treasures". Our classroom was filled with photos, toys and personal items that piqued the interest of all the children, as they anxiously awaited the revelation of their friends' treasures.
